Spicy Paprika Prawn Tacos Recipe

Ingredients:
- For the Prawns:
450g large prawns, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon SuperSpice Paprika Blend
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon SuperSpice Cayenne Pepper (optional, for extra heat)
Salt and black pepper to taste
- For the Tacos:
- 8 small taco tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1/2 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- Fresh coriander leaves (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Prawns:
- In a bowl, toss the prawns with olive oil, SuperSpice Paprika Blend, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper if using. Season with salt and black pepper.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned prawns and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until pink and cooked through. Remove from heat.
2. Prepare the Taco Toppings:
- In a small bowl, mix the sour cream (or Greek yogurt) with lime juice. Season with a pinch of salt if desired.
- Warm the taco tortillas in a dry skillet or in the microwave.
3. Assemble the Tacos:
- Spread a spoonful of the lime sour cream mixture on each tortilla.
- Top with shredded cabbage, followed by the cooked prawns.
- Add avocado slices on top of the prawns.
4. Garnish and Serve:
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves if desired.
- Serve immediately with lime wedges on the side for extra zing.
Our Tips:
- For added crunch, you can add some diced tomatoes or pickled onions to the tacos.
- If you prefer a spicier kick, increase the amount of cayenne pepper or add a dash of hot sauce to the prawns.
