Air Fryer Paprika Tortilla Chips

Ingredients:

  • 6 small corn tortillas

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon SuperSpice Paprika Blend

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)

- Optional: a pinch of cayenne pepper for extra heat

Instructions:

1. Preheat your air fryer: Set your air fryer to 175°C and let it preheat while you prepare the tortilla chips.

2. Prepare the tortillas: Stack the corn tortillas and cut them into 6 wedges each, creating classic tortilla chip shapes.

3. Season the tortillas: In a large mixing bowl, add the tortilla wedges. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle the SuperSpice Paprika Blend evenly over the chips. Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and cayenne pepper if using. Toss the tortillas until they’re evenly coated with the spice mixture.

4. Arrange in the air fryer: Place the seasoned tortilla wedges in a single layer in the air fryer basket. It’s okay if some overlap, but avoid overcrowding. You may need to cook them in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.

5. Cook the tortillas: Air fry the tortilla chips for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking. Keep an eye on them during the last few minutes to avoid burning, as cooking times may vary.

6. Cool and serve: Once golden and crispy, remove the tortilla chips from the air fryer and let them cool for a few minutes. They’ll continue to crisp up as they cool. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
